This Melbournian-inspired café is Bull & Roo’s debut concept. Tucked away in a corner of Al Quoz, it served its first plate of deliciousness back in November 2013. Born out of a desire to dish up honest, wholesome fare and great coffee to Dubai residents from all walks of life, the urban-industrial space was one of the first in the city to pair casual and gourmet. Things haven’t changed much since we opened. Although we’ve up-scaled the expansive space’s gritty-chic feel with a character-filled, contemporary palette and a few other stylistic tweaks, our come-back-soon service and beautiful servers with positive vibes are still the same as the last time you dropped by.

Sourcing premium green beans from around the world, we have selected the niche market looking for quality. It’s really important to us that our beans are ethically sourced and the farmers and their families growing our coffee are treated fairly and can make a sustainable living. Our beans are all organically certified, roasted in small batches, and available to sample from our warehouse roastery either as single origins or blends. After we started, we quickly realized coffee is not just about the beans and how much care we put into roasting them. It’s also about the support and training we can give to the baristas, and finding equipment manufacturers we want to align ourselves with.
