Le Murate
On Tuesday 27 September 2011 in Florence the Literary Café Le Murate was born, in one of the oldest districts of the historic center of Florence. Located within the Murate complex, the former prison of Florence and former convent, returned to the city after a restoration whose guidelines were drawn up by Renzo Piano, the Literary Cafe Le Murate is part of a context of multiple cultural initiatives , proposing itself as an international reference point. A place for confrontation between opinions, for encounters between different cultures where new models of coexistence are recreated under the banner of freedom and originality of the proposals: literary, artistic, gastronomic.
