Søstjernen opened at Østerbrogade 50 in August 1999.
Owner and designer Katrine Leisner, who has a background of designing shoes and clothes, wanted to test the simplicity and synergy between clothes and shoes for children.A small concept shop based on a simple collection of own design, with key items every child would need.
Søstjernen has through the years grown to become both a children shop at Østerbro in Copenhagen and also a children shop in Berlin. For woman, Søstjernen has a shop with clothes of own design and shoes at Willemoesgade 4, Østerbro in Copenhagen.
